Fresh air, crystal-clear Alpine rivers and verdant green forests in the area surrounding Bled beckon you to spend your leisure time in the great outdoors.

In warmer months, you may choose to go hiking, cycling, climbing, riding, rafting or try other white-water sports, or alternatively afford yourself a game of golf on the Bled course, said to be one of the most beautiful in this part of Europe.

In winter, when Bled and its surroundings are covered in white, you may indulge in snow joys.

The smaller Straža ski slope is in the very centre of Bled, while there are several excellent ski resorts not far from Bled. The nearby Pokljuka plateau features well-maintained pistes and is a paradise for lovers of cross-country skiing.

A special experience of the magical countryside is rendered by panoramic hot-air balloon ride and flights, which may be carried out all-year-round providing suitable weather conditions.
